[ Lukius has been around for a bit, settling himself into Luceti, and while he's spent a lot time lurking on the journals today's his first attempt at actually posting to them. He starts simple enough with a written post, feeling slightly sheepish about the questions. ]

How many of you have a Church or similar in your worlds? Can you tell me about them?

[ He's more than a little curious about the way things are run outside of Areulla, especially considering how well that seemed to go over for them. A few moments after, he switches to voice. ]

If there are others from Areulla here, those who are friends with Caius should know he's arrived safely.

[ And this is hesitation. ]

A young girl named Rommy has also arrived here from my world. She ... may appear harmless, but I'd like for all of you to keep in mind she's not what she seems.

[ and then moments later, when he's found how he wants to say it: ]

An organized group with a set hierarchy and various sects ultimately devoted to religious or spiritual ambitions.

[ Another pause before he scribbles something down hastily. ]

[ Tenten waits patiently at the response. After a couple of moments of deep thought and panning through her memories, she replies. ] Not really? We have temples, though those are rare and I've only been to some on missions, but I never participated in a religious ceremony there either.

Are these things common in other worlds?

They might be. The Church and their teachings, as well as the beliefs of others, is very important in mine, and I've received a few responses about the existence of the same in others. I've also heard of not having them at all, though.

Hm. We don't really have anything about spirituality guidance that's widespread here. Are the Religions these Churches practice the same? Or are they entirely different but they all use the name Church to describe their institution?

I assume they're different based on the world they reside in. For instance, the Church in my world relies heavily on the conditions of it. I don't think other worlds would have the same practices unless they were similar.

Hm. So they all have different beliefs they they're still all called churches? That's rather amazing. Is there any real reason you asked? Like, something involving churches affecting you back home or something?

I was raised in a church and appointed a leader of one of its branches by my father. I was curious about the role it plays in other worlds.

That sounds like an interesting life. Did you like it?

I don't really know. I suppose if nothing else it's put me in a position most others would never see, but it was very rigorous and had high expectations.

Hm. Well, we have positions like that back home but I don't think they carry the Church's message. What makes the Church different from a government anyways? The set of beliefs they have?
