[ Lukius has been around for a bit, settling himself into Luceti, and while he's spent a lot time lurking on the journals today's his first attempt at actually posting to them. He starts simple enough with a written post, feeling slightly sheepish about the questions. ]

How many of you have a Church or similar in your worlds? Can you tell me about them?

[ He's more than a little curious about the way things are run outside of Areulla, especially considering how well that seemed to go over for them. A few moments after, he switches to voice. ]

If there are others from Areulla here, those who are friends with Caius should know he's arrived safely.

[ And this is hesitation. ]

A young girl named Rommy has also arrived here from my world. She ... may appear harmless, but I'd like for all of you to keep in mind she's not what she seems.

I think it's inevitable. Every person has flaws, and those flaws even make their way into our morals and faiths. However, it doesn't make the codes less noble, or less worthy of striving towards.

Do you think it's possible to redeem a faith that's been lost to that sort of corruption? [ Clarifying: ] When believers turn to some sort of flawed ideal in the religion.

I suppose if it changed once, it could also be changed back.

The Catholic Church has held several councils through history to form and solidify its doctrine.

Do they have several branches of power required to meet at the councils, or is it more self-contained?

I'm afraid I'm not very familiar with their hierarchy. They're a small portion of the population in my country.

Is the separation of belief by region popular?

Popular? It would depend on a region's history. [The questions are somewhat confusing for a simple matter of statistics and population flow.] It depends upon people bringing the religion with them, and where, and whether or not the people of that region accept it. Of course, many different faiths live side by side.

Sorry for all the questions. In my world, religion — or, at least, the cultural differences in churches are rather important and effectively divide the entire population.

I can't pretend history is devoid of that sort of conflict, and even today people argue over religion and even fight over it. But I believe it's possible to live side by side as well. In many places, it seems to happen.

It's my intention to return home and guide the reformation of the church and create a better, more equal world. It's reassuring to hear the idea is at the least not impossible.

I believe people can reach understandings even if their beliefs are different.

Even when those beliefs have torn families apart?

One example of a family arguing isn't enough to be called proof it will always happen. Even many wouldn't be.

But one single family that puts their differences aside, is proof that it can be possible to do that.

That's ... hard to say, at this point. But I think progress can be made, at the least. [ ... ] It'll take time, but I have plenty of it to give.

I was year for a year. After that, I returned to my world. Four years passed there, and then I found myself back here - a week after I'd left here.

I've had time to understand the way this place works in that regard.

The way time works here certainly seems inconsistent. How long have you been here since your re-arrival?

A little more than another year.

It might be more precise to say we're brought outside of time, or at least outside the time of our own worlds.
